Our Vision

Whitsunday Counselling and Support works towards the prevention and reduction of violence in the community by providing professional support services to women, children, young people and families who have experienced family violence, sexual assault or are at risk of neglect or abuse.

As Chief Executive Officer Graeme has the delegated leadership responsibility for the organisation and is responsible for the overall effective and efficient management of all aspects of the organisation’s Corporate Services, Governance and service delivery.

Leanne Althaus
Finance
Manager

As Finance Manager, Leanne is responsible for the management of the Organisation’s finances and payroll and the associated reporting and acquittal to our various funding and regulatory bodies.

Sylvia Powell
Service Delivery Manager

Sylvia is responsible for managing the day- to- day operational function of WCS client services, along with the provision of a professional coordinating role of the practitioners, key stakeholders and core services she also identifies service gaps in the community or services which are either under-provided or lacking in the community. 

Sherry Smith
Business Development

As Business Development Manager, Sherry assists to define long-term organisational strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities and maintain extensive knowledge of current market needs and conditions.
