π About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate DFV Coordinator to lead our Domestic and Family Violence service stream.
This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing program delivery, managing a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring high-quality, compliant, and trauma-informed services across:

You will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to drive service excellence, continuous improvement, and strong outcomes for clients.
Key responsibilities include:

βLead and coordinate day-to-day delivery of DFV services across the region
-
Provide supervision, mentoring, and performance management to staff
-
Manage complex and high-risk DFV cases, maintaining a reduced caseload
-
Deliver trauma-informed counselling and crisis intervention support
-
Oversee intake, risk assessment, safety planning, and case management processes
-
Ensure compliance with legislation, funding agreements, and best practice frameworks

Build strong partnerships with police, courts, child safety, and community agencies

Monitor service performance, reporting, waitlists, and program outcomes
β About You
You are a confident leader with a strong background in domestic and family violence or trauma services, and a genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable people.
Essential requirements:

Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, or related field

Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in DFV, crisis response, or trauma counselling

Demonstrated experience working with high-risk DFV cases

Current Queensland Blue Card and driver’s licence

You will provide operational and practice leadership across both case management and therapeutic services, ensuring high-quality, child-focused, and trauma-informed support for families at risk of or involved with the child protection system.

Supervise, mentor, and support staff across case management and counselling streams -
Manage complex and high-risk family cases with a reduced caseload -
